Bohemian Kantha Scarf
A beautiful kantha scarf with calming blue tones on one side and a vibrant multicoloured pattern on the reverse, handstitched with contrasting black, white and blue kantha stitch. All finished off with beautiful decorative stitching along the edges.
This one-of-a-kind kantha scarf has been handcrafted from layers of recycled cotton saris and has been freehand stitched by the female artisans of 'The Centre for Development and Peace’, a fair trade non-profit in Meherpur, Bangladesh.

❃ Material: 100% upcycled vintage cotton sari, hand-sewn together using a traditional kantha stitch and rows of complex regional stitching.
❃ Love and Care: Our vintage kantha is machine washable (and in fact gets softer over more time & use).
❃ The Maker: This scarf has been handmade by the women artisans of ‘The Centre for Development and Peace’, a fair trade non-profit in Meherpur which trains, employs and supports more than 250 women. The CPD empowers the most vulnerable and at-risk women and children; widows, victims of trafficking and sex workers.
